1) Make sure the wall is clean & smooth. Apply one coat of Quartz Primer or Supercryl in a colour similar to the shade of Jute selected or in white to make the texture stand out.

2) Apply one coat of Jute with a brush/ short-nap roller. Before the paint dries, go over the surface with a dragging brush using horizontal strokes. Wait an hour for the coat to dry. At this stage, it should look like horizontal corduroy.

3) Apply another coat of Jute with a brush or roller on the previous coat. Before the paint dries, go over the surface using vertical strokes. The final colour and effect will appear after 24h and may be lighter than when applied.
